Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is also known as Earth Treasure Bodhisattva or Earth Store Bodhisattva，and is one of the four principal Bodhisattvas in East Asian Mahayana Buddhism. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is known for his vow to take responsibility for the instruction of all beings in the six worlds between the death of Sakyamuni Buddha and the rise of Maitreya Buddha, as well as his vow not to achieve Buddhahood until all hells are emptied. After the death of Sakyamuni Buddha, there would be no Buddha on Earth until the appearance of the Bodhisattva Maitreya over a few billion years later, who is to become the next Buddha. During this transition period, in the ere between the death of Sakyamuni Buddha and the rise of Maitreya Buddha, Sakyamuni Buddha assighed and delegated to Earth Store Bodhisattva to act on His behalf, in order to save the sentient beings. Because of this important role, shrines of Earth Store Bodhisattva often occupy a central role in any Oriental Mahayana temple, especially within the memorial halls or mausoleums.

The benefits of worshipping statues of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva are numerous. It is stated in the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva: Good men or women in the future may see images of Earth Store Bodhisattva and hear this Sutra or read or recite it. They may use incense, flowers, food and drink, clothing, and gems to give gifts and make offerings to him. They may praise, behold, and bow to him. Such beings will benefit in twenty-eight ways.

How it works
Such a project for world peach will not be fulfilled without world wide efforts. Right now, all the statues are made in China, after then these statues will be shipped to LA; and from LA , the statues will be distributed to every corner of the US according to the requirements.

The statues are free for all the organizations which need one. We are raising funds all over the world to build the statues and ship from China to the US. We do ask organizations to pay for the shipping from LA to their location. Donation is highly recommended in order to fulfill this project.
